Our five-level career path gives every stylist something meaningful to work toward:
New Talent → Rising Stylist → Power Stylist → Master Stylist → Elite Stylist
Each level reflects your growth in technical skill, service timing, guest retention, professionalism, teamwork and service revenue. Quarterly growth meetings provide dedicated time to review your progress, celebrate what is working and create a plan for the areas that still need development.
Advancement is not based on numbers alone. We look at the complete stylist—your artistry, consistency, guest experience, communication and ability to contribute positively to the salon.
Growth happens through a combination of education and real salon experience. DHCo stylists receive continued technical education, coaching and opportunities to learn alongside experienced artists.
Stylists in the first three career levels have a dedicated day for assisting the salon and shadowing owner Laura Gabriel. This provides hands-on experience with guest care, salon systems, service preparation, client communication and efficient behind-the-chair techniques.
You will be supported—but you will also be expected to take ownership of your development. The stylists who thrive at DHCo are curious, coachable and willing to practice what they learn.
Some stylists want to build long, successful careers as high-level DHCo employees. Others may eventually dream of operating an independent business.
For established Master and Elite Stylists who demonstrate professional, technical and financial readiness, DHCo offers the possibility of exploring a structured transition toward independence at Salon Brielle. Approximately three years with DHCo may be a realistic development timeline for many stylists, but every path is individual.
Participation in the independent pathway and future rental opportunities are based on readiness, mutual fit and space availability. They are not guaranteed—but open communication about your long-term goals is always encouraged.
